Companies including Schur Automation, Endress+Hauser and Novonesis are among the many exhibitors that have already confirmed their participation in FoodTech 2026. What they all share is a strong ambition to showcase new solutions and engage with FoodTech’s many visitors. FoodTech will take place at MCH Messecenter Herning from 27–29 October 2026.

Ongoing transformation within the food industry is helping to position FoodTech as a highly relevant platform for industry stakeholders. This is the message from exhibitors at FoodTech, who see significant value in exhibiting at the Nordic region’s leading destination for food technology. Among the exhibitors looking ahead to the event is Schur Automation, which, as part of a new initiative at FoodTech, has joined forces with several other exhibitors to place a special focus on packaging and labelling.

“We are looking forward to FoodTech 2026 and see the exhibition as an ideal opportunity to meet both existing and new customers and engage in valuable discussions about how our solutions can create reliability, quality and value in production,” says Lars Michael Bang, Director (Marking & Quality Control) at Schur Automation, who also outlines what visitors can expect to see at the company’s stand.

“Among other things, we will be showcasing new online color printing solutions for direct integration into production environments. These solutions reduce the need for pre-printed packaging and labels, minimize waste and increase flexibility. At the same time, we will present new packaging solutions focused on recyclability and upcoming QR code requirements”.

Schur Automation will also showcase solutions for weight control, fully automated weighing and dosing, as well as inspection systems designed to detect foreign objects in products.

An Important Platform for Dialogue and Inspiration

Endress+Hauser, exhibiting within the Water & Energy area, is also preparing to present new solutions.

“Our ambition is to demonstrate how digitalization and modern measurement technology can create tangible value for the food industry — from increased operational reliability and improved documentation to stronger compliance and reduced resource consumption. Visitors will be able to experience solutions such as IO-Link, our Netilion IoT ecosystem and new hygienic sensors that support more efficient and sustainable production,” says Anders Hjulmann, Industry Manager at Endress+Hauser, while also highlighting one of FoodTech’s key strengths:
“At the same time, the exhibition serves as an important platform for dialogue and inspiration, where together with customers we can transform actual challenges into real solutions.”

Bringing Together the Entire Food Industry Value Chain

Novonesis is also exhibiting, driven in part by FoodTech’s ability to facilitate dialogue across the industry.

“The exhibition is highly important to us because it brings together the entire food industry value chain and creates opportunities for the close dialogue we priorities so highly. We look forward to meeting both customers and partners face-to-face, listening to their challenges and strengthening relationships. At our stand, we will present real solutions for the dairy industry, but for us the exhibition is equally about being a close and committed partner that actively contributes to our customers’ development,” explains Anne Sofie Kiilerich Aamann, Sales Manager for Dairy Products in Scandinavia and the Netherlands at Novonesis.

She adds that the company is currently seeing several major industry developments directly linked to the solutions Novonesis is working with: a growing focus on health and functional products, increased demand for natural ingredients and clean-label solutions, the need for efficiency and production stability, and rising expectations regarding taste and texture.

The opportunity to discuss trends such as these directly with customers — and potentially turn those conversations into actual solutions — is why Anne Sofie Kiilerich Aamann describes this year’s edition of FoodTech as “particularly important.”

Expanding Perspectives Through Key Focus Areas

In addition to its many forward-looking exhibitors, FoodTech 2026 will feature a broad range of knowledge-sharing and innovation-focused activities designed to broaden industry perspectives.

This includes EHEDG (European Hygienic Engineering and Design Group), which will host presentations on all three days of FoodTech, as well as Plastindustrien, which will organize two half-day conferences. Both Food Life Science and Packaging will also contribute presentations throughout the exhibition.

In addition, the Water & Energy Stage will host presentations focused on energy efficiency in food production and the reduction of water consumption. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet some of the industry’s leading experts in an area dedicated to optimizing both national and international energy management and water usage.

Visitors to FoodTech 2026 can also look forward to experiencing the combined competition and exhibition IFC, featuring a wide range of dairy products that have been assessed and quality-evaluated according to professional criteria. In addition to dairy products, the exhibition will also showcase the latest technologies, including machinery relevant to the dairy industry.

FoodTech will take place at MCH Messecenter Herning from 27–29 October 2026.
