At the FoodTech exhibition, we are unveiling strong new product offerings for both production and packaging that promise significant improvements and increased profitability. These dedicated solutions for sorting, weighing, labeling, and control, as well as production management, utilize digitalization and automation to optimize all processes while reducing waste, labor time, and errors.

Scanvaegt Systems has recently expanded its range of inspection solutions with TriVision's advanced vision systems and Anritsu's compact checkweighers, metal detectors, and X-ray systems. These innovations will be showcased as part of our complete EOL packaging lines at FoodTech.

TriVision Vision Systems: Protecting Your Brand and Profitability

TriVision's innovative vision systems perform quality control on packaged food products, ensuring they meet the required quality standards. The systems inspect parameters such as foreign objects, color, content quantity and amount, shape and size, label print, barcode, as well as position, product surface, and packaging seal. TriVision's automated quality control operates rapidly, optimizing the production process, reducing manual labor, and eliminating costly recalls and fines.

Anritsu Inspection Solutions: High-Speed Checkweighing and Inspection

As part of our program, we are now launching Anritsu’s super-compact inspection solutions, which bring significant improvements to the packaging line. These solutions include fast and precise checkweighers with speeds up to 300 packages per minute and accuracy down to 0.1 grams. The series also features an extremely compact combination checkweigher with an integrated metal detector, which, with a total length of just 775 mm, can easily fit into any packaging line. Additionally, the system can be expanded with an X-ray system for detecting bone, count, fill, and content.

Scanvaegt SB520 ScanBatcher: Economical, High-Precision Sorting

We are introducing our new SB520 ScanBatcher for tolerance batching, minimum batching, and sizing. With its enhanced software and efficient weighing technology, the SB520 reduces giveaway and maximizes raw material yield. Moreover, the SB520 provides an economical and sustainable solution for replacing an existing Scanvaegt 7100 or 4700, allowing you to replace only the weighing machine while continuing to use the old separator and infeed section. This significantly reduces both installation time and investment.

Espera Nova ES-E: Flexible and Eco-Friendly Weighing and Labeling Line

The new Espera Nova ES-E, with a labeling speed of up to 80 packages per minute, offers an innovative labeling solution that can handle packages weighing from 50 grams to 15 kg. This fully automatic system can be configured with up to four printers: two above the conveyor for labeling the top of the package and two below for labeling the underside. The Nova ES-E is also an environmentally friendly solution, significantly reducing electricity consumption with its internal compressor system, which only uses power during the actual labeling process.

ScanPlant NG: Enhancing Production Processes and Increasing Profitability

ScanPlant NG is a manufacturing execution system that monitors production developments and provides transparency in all aspects—from productivity and inventory development to yield and shrinkage in real time. It ensures that even small deviations in individual processes are detected quickly, allowing timely intervention to reduce giveaway and prevent significant losses.

Increased Line Efficiency with Scanvaegt ABWL System

The new ABWL system automatically weighs and labels cartons, simultaneously checking that both the weight and the information on the label are correct, that the label is properly placed, and that the barcode is readable. In case of discrepancies, the carton is automatically sorted onto a reject line. The payback period for the ABWL system is often under a year, as automation can save labor equivalent to a full-time position per step in the various packaging processes.
