At iversen trading, we have been working with flow since 1975. We advise on and supply pumps, valves, heat exchangers, instrumentation and other flow components to Danish industry – and at FoodTech, our focus is naturally on solutions for the food, beverage and process industries.

We work with both well-established global manufacturers and a number of specialised niche suppliers. Alfa Laval, ARO and EMEC are among our key partners, and together our suppliers enable us to solve a wide variety of applications within flow, dosing, measurement and control.

Since 2017, we have been an authorised distributor of Alfa Laval hygienic pumps for the food and beverage industry, and since 2019, we have also been an authorised Alfa Laval service partner for pumps in Denmark.

It starts with the process – not the part number

For us, flow components are not just about products and technical specifications. The right solution depends on the process surrounding the component.

What needs to be pumped? How should the product be handled? What are the requirements for hygiene, cleaning, temperature, pressure and flow? Are there challenges related to energy consumption, maintenance or downtime?

That is why our advice always starts with the customer's application. Sometimes the solution is a hygienic pump or valve. In other cases, it may be a dosing pump, an instrument, a heat exchanger or an entirely different way of approaching the process.

We are also happy to visit our customers and see the installation in operation. Seeing the process first-hand often provides a much better understanding of the application than a data sheet alone.

From hygienic flow to dosing and instrumentation

Our portfolio covers a broad range of flow technologies.

We work with hygienic centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, diaphragm pumps, dosing pumps, valves, actuators, heat exchangers, filters, fittings and instrumentation for measuring and controlling parameters such as flow, pressure, temperature, pH, conductivity and ORP.

Our broad product portfolio allows us to look beyond the individual component and advise on the solution that makes the most sense for the process as a whole.

But we do not believe in making a solution more complicated than it needs to be. If a simpler or less expensive solution is the better choice for the application, we will say so.
