The Alfa Laval Hybrid Powder Mixer S15 is a compact and efficient solution for fast and uniform powder dissolution in liquids. By combining powder mixing and pumping in a single unit, the S15 ensures a homogeneous blend, high product quality and a more efficient production process.
The S15 is particularly suitable for the dairy, food and beverage industries, where it is used for mixing thickeners, stabilizers, emulsifiers and milk powder.
Efficient Mixing – Fewer Components
With its two-stage design, the Hybrid Powder Mixer S15 combines a rotor-stator mixer with a pump. Powder is drawn directly into the liquid stream and quickly dispersed to create a homogeneous mixture, even at high dry matter concentrations.
The integrated pump can simultaneously transfer the finished mixture at outlet pressures of up to 5 bar. This reduces the need for separate mixing and pumping equipment, helping to lower investment, energy and maintenance costs.
Flexible Solution for Hygienic Processes
The Hybrid Powder Mixer S15 is designed for hygienic production environments and can be integrated into an existing recirculation system connected to a batch tank.
Once mixing is complete, the unit can also be used as a discharge pump or as part of a CIP cleaning system in combination with an Alfa Laval Rotary Jet Mixer.
The result is a flexible solution that combines efficient powder mixing, high capacity and easy operation.
