Kohberg is Denmark's largest Danish and family-owned bakery and has been baking rye bread in the small Southern Jutland town of Bolderslev since the company's humble beginnings in 1969.

Today, the company consists of two additional bakeries in Taastrup and Haderslev, respectively. In 2023, the company generated a revenue of almost DKK 967 million. That clearly means large volumes of bread are sold!

In total, Kohberg employs more than 500 employees, who, in a 2023 well-being survey for the industry, were measured to be the most satisfied. his is due in part to a strong focus on employee wellbeing and also on safety in the bakeries.

Solution:
In Bolderslev, they have previously secured some stairways with Real Safety's step treads. On the verge of 2025, this was expanded to also include our floor safety, which now provides slip-proofing for the floor area in front of the stairs in the cold room.

Adding these solutions is of crucial ergonomic importance, as one no longer has to overcompensate with the body, but can move around safely and relaxed without the risk of falling accidents. In terms of hygiene, all solutions can withstand the cleaning methods commonly used in the food industry.
