Packaging for exclusive liquorice: Bagsværd Lakrids and Procudan collaborate

Bagsværd Lakrids has always prided itself on delivering a product that is as unique in taste as it is in presentation. When they were looking for a packaging solution for their exclusive handmade liquorice, they chose Procudan. The aim was to create a pack that would both protect the product and support the luxury brand.
- It was a very specific brief with requirements that we had not tried to meet before. However, we agreed to try to develop a unique packaging exclusively for Bagsværd Lakrids, says Jens D. Kønigsfeldt, Account Manager Packaging at Procudan.
The choice fell on a three-layer laminate film bag that met the functional and aesthetic requirements.
- We chose a three-layer laminate film pouch with brown paper on the outside for our minibar. The pouch has tear lines, making it easy for the consumer to open the minibar and enjoy it on the go. We are delighted with the packaging, which exudes exclusivity and supports our high-quality liquorice, says Morten Kornbech Larsen from Bagsværd Lakrids.
