arrow_backTo the overviewWith its new stainless steel flanged enclosures, ROSE Systemtechnik is launching a flexible, robust, and low-maintenance enclosure solution designed for demanding industrial environments as well as hazardous areas complying with ATEX and IECEx directives. The enclosures are manufactured as standard from high-grade stainless steel in grades 1.4301 (AISI 304) and 1.4404 (AISI 316L), ensuring customers benefit from top-tier material quality across the entire portfolio.
The core highlight of this new development is the modular flange concept: thanks to lateral flanges, a single base enclosure can be easily adapted to a wide variety of connection requirements and installation setups—without compromising the ingress protection rating.
The enclosures also set new benchmarks in installation and maintenance:
An innovative clamping nut technology frees design engineers from rigid mounting grids, allowing complete freedom in positioning electrical components. Existing accessories from previous series remain 100% backward compatible, enabling seamless retrofitting and replacements.
Maximum operational safety is ensured by flexible external earthing via weld studs for ring cable lugs. Their position on the enclosure can be freely defined by the customer and is now available as a standard feature for industrial applications.
Upgrading to stainless steel hexagon head screws instead of Phillips screws prevents overtightening/stripping and allows easy opening even under harsh conditions such as frost, dirt, or moisture.
Integrated drainage openings at the top and bottom of hinged versions allow standing water to drain away easily and enable flexible mounting in both orientations.
