DriSteem XT Series
Industrial Electrode Steam Humidifiers
The DriSteem XT Series consists of compact and reliable electrode steam humidifiers designed for installations with demanding requirements for precise humidity control, hygiene, flexibility, and easy maintenance.
The series includes the XTP and XTR models, with steam capacities ranging from 2 to 130 kg/h, depending on the model and configuration.
The units are particularly suitable for food production, pharmaceutical manufacturing, hospitals, museums, office buildings, production facilities, and other environments where stable and controlled humidity levels are essential.
Efficient and Hygienic Steam Humidification
The XT Series operates on the electrode principle, where electrical current passes through the water between the electrodes.
The electrical resistance of the water generates heat, bringing the water to a boil and producing steam for humidification.
The steam can be distributed directly into ventilation ducts or supplied to rooms through separate steam dispersion units and fan systems.
The system automatically controls water filling and draining to maintain the required steam production and regulate the electrical current passing through the water.
The thermal steam generation process ensures that humidification is achieved using steam rather than atomised water droplets.
Precise Control and Monitoring
The DriSteem XTP is equipped with the advanced Vapor-logic® control system, providing precise regulation and monitoring of humidifier operation.
The control system includes:
Precise relative humidity (RH) control.
PID control for stable and accurate humidity regulation.
Automatic steam production control based on actual demand.
Automatic water filling and draining.
Automatic draining of the steam cylinder after a user-defined period without a demand for humidification, reducing the risk of microbial growth.
Monitoring of operating status and alarms.
Integration options for BMS and SCADA systems.
Access to control functions via Ethernet and a web interface.
USB connection for data download, backup, and controller firmware updates.
The XTP supports BACnet® and Modbus® communication, with LonTalk® available as an option.
The DriSteem XTR features a simpler standard controller with push-button operation and LED indicators for operating status and troubleshooting.
Flexible Installation
The XT Series can be adapted to a wide range of installation conditions and applications.

Integration into air handling and ventilation systems.

The units can operate with water within the following conductivity ranges:
Standard cylinder: 350–1,250 µS/cm.
Low-conductivity cylinder: 12–1,250 µS/cm.
The selection of the appropriate cylinder depends on the water quality and the specific humidifier model.
Easy Service and Maintenance
One of the key advantages of the XT Series is its straightforward maintenance.
Instead of manually cleaning the steam cylinder, the cylinder is simply replaced when indicated by the controller.
This reduces the need for time-consuming cleaning and makes maintenance more efficient and manageable.
Automatic filling and draining cycles also help maintain stable steam production under varying water conditions.
