dB-Shield® Work

Custom Passive Industrial Hearing Protection
dB-Shield® Work is Audiovox’s custom hearing protection for work use. They are compact and have a small handle that makes them easy to insert and remove. dB-Shield® Work comes with a cord to minimize the risk of dropping your hearing protection on the work floor. The hearing protection is made from a soft medical silicone and the noise filters in the hearing protection allows your ear to equalize pressure, meaning you can wear them all day without discomfort. dB-Shield® Work is available with detection for companies in the food industry.

The hearing protection can be supplied with a noise filter that attenuates noise non-linearly. Here, high-frequency sounds (e.g. angle grinders and compressed air) are attenuated the most, while medium-frequency sounds (e.g. speech and motors) and low-frequency sounds (e.g. machinery) are attenuated the least. This means that you are able to communicate with your colleagues, hear alarms and the like while working in a noisy environment.
