There are many circularity challenges for the F&B industry including: waste management, Supply chain complexity, costumer behavior, regulatory environment, cost considerations and raw material sourcing.
As an integrated part of these challenges are the topic of water as water is impacted in all aspects of the value chain. This goes from the impact of water utilization in the areas where the F&B industry source the produces, through considerations of packaging material and potential recycling of these to the usage of the products itself.
