Humidity needs to be controlled in many food production environments. However, the demand for dehumidification is not constant. Temperature, production activities, cleaning and other changes in the production rooms affect the indoor humidity level throughout the day.
Airwatergreen has developed a new approach to industrial dehumidification that combines energy-efficient dehumidification technology with demand-driven operation. Different operating modes allow the system to reduce energy when demand is lower, manage the impact of humidity peaks after cleaning and takes electricity prices into account. This creates opportunities to reduce energy costs without losing control of the indoor climate.
During the presentation, Airwatergreen will show how this approach is applied in food production environments and share results from installations where humidity and dew point has to be controlled under demanding conditions.
The presentation will show how new patented dehumidification technology can respond to what is happening in the production environment and only use energy according to actual needs.
