There is a perfect fold. An angle that sits exactly right, a nose sharp enough to cut through the air, and a centre of gravity placed with millimetre precision. The question is, can you fold it?

At our stand, we're throwing down the gauntlet: build the ultimate paper aeroplane and come face the competition. It isn't chance that decides the winner, it's aerodynamics, patience and a fair amount of stubbornness. So if you've ever had a theory about wing loading, or a suspicion that the classic dart fold is overrated, now's the time to put it to the test.

And yes, we know the competition will be tough. All the more reason to practise beforehand.

How to win
Come to our stand, fold your best paper aeroplane, and send it out onto the course. We measure precision: the aeroplane that hits the most points over FoodTech's three days wins.
