The awareness from the consumers on the environmental challenges we face, are changing the demand for information about the food they buy. The consumers require greater variety in food products than ever before, and that puts a pressure on food processors to have flexible production lines and improved planning tools for both predictions of what to produce, and ensure a reliable production.
In the future we will see less people in the factories, and that requires automation in all levels. Full utilization of the raw material is key, to produce food in a sustainable way. To ensure the best uptime of the equipment, Marel needs data to achieve a deep insight to every aspect of the machines.
