Better test data is a piece of cake: meet FOSS at FoodTech Stand M9844.
Join FOSS in celebrating its 60th anniversary at the upcoming FoodTech event and learn how our latest generation analytical solutions can help to find even more yield and profit in dairy production.
The recently-released DairyscanTM and the MilkoscanTM Mars will be of special interest to producers still relying on time-consuming traditional methods to gain vital data on key control parameters such as fat and protein in liquid and solid samples.
The MilkoScan Mars is a quick and handy instrument for testing liquid milk, for example to help ensure a more consistent ratio of fat and protein as it flows into the cheese production process. It can also be used to screen milk for accidental or deliberate adulteration. Complementing the MilkoScan Mars, the new DairyScan analyser provides rapid analysis of solid samples for fat and moisture.
Both analysers use infrared technology, but in different forms to give optimal tests for the different sample types. Together they offer a winning team: two easy and affordable analysers giving users the best technology for the job to be done. Each gives the highest accuracy for liquid or semi-solid and solid samples ensuring more profit through better quality and tighter control of production.
Analysis moves from the lab to the production line
Dairy processors wanting to share in the proven yield improvements of analysis directly in the process line can talk to experts at the stand about the possibilities with solutions such as the ProFoss Dairy.
Using a sensor positioned in the process pipe, the ProFoss gives a result every few seconds from material in production. These virtually ‘real-time’ process results allow users to see trends in the process and reduce variations as required. With less variation in the process, production targets can be moved closer to the specification to increase yield and improve quality. A number of applications are available, from butter to cheese and dairy powders. Read more in this case story on milk powder production: link to recent In Focus article, Closing the gap.
Foss 60 celebration
All FoodTech visitors are welcome to join us at the FOSS stand M9844 at 14:00 on 1 November for cake and drinks to mark our anniversary. The 60 year milestone is significant for the food and agri industry because of the unique competences that FOSS has built up over the years, placing it in a strong position to take on ever- complex challenges within food and agri quality control. These include adulteration of the supply chain, tight margins for food and feed producers and the ongoing need to improve efficiency in production processes. We look forward to seeing you there.
